Keyless entry
Digital access systems are more secure, convenient and economical than a classic, mechanical key.
Doorbird’s digital key solution is already integrated into the IP video door stations ex works and can be used for almost any application.
All digital keys have a unique identifier and are configurable. At what time, where and for how long a key may grant access can be individually defined.
If required, each access is automatically documented. Misplaced, lost or stolen digital keys can be blocked and replaced immediately.
Simple planning and installation
The IP-based door intercoms require significantly less planning and installation effort than analog systems. They are connected via network cables that can transmit both data and power.
In existing buildings, the existing cabling can continue to be used in many cases. Thanks to the unique Plug & Play technology, our devices are ready for immediate use.
DoorBird products do not require a central control unit. All devices are directly addressable in the network.
Remote management
Building managers can manage all IP door stations in their own portfolio conveniently and securely using DoorBird WebAdmin, our browser-based administration tool.
All installations are clearly mapped in a central system and all functions can be configured at any time without leaving the office. For example, when tenants change, the names on the digital bell panel are automatically updated and digital keys are assigned quickly and unbureaucratically. Alternatively, the data can be integrated into the company’s own management platforms.
Thanks to remote access to the door stations, the administrative effort involved in managing access rights for service providers and service personnel is reduced.
Employees of cleaning companies, meter reading services, waste disposal and elevator maintenance, as well as tradesmen and delivery services, are granted access to the building with digital keys in predefined time windows.
Advantages for the tenants
Within the residential and office units, our IP video indoor station is installed, which offers many other benefits in addition to the classic functions of an indoor station, including concierge call, room-to-room communication and weather information.
Tenants receive additional added value with the DoorBird app. When visitors or parcel delivery people ring the front doorbell, residents receive a push notification on their smartphones or tablets and can see the guests, talk to them and also open the front door. This works both at home and on the go.
The DoorBird app can achieve better burglary protection than a traditional alarm system, because most burglaries occur after the absence check by ringing the doorbell. Tenants can respond to any ringing via app and signal their presence at home with their answer.
